This piece of writing was done out of school
Today is Christmas and I got given a few presents, as a result I got........
Yo yo, Pattern colouring in book, Sparkly stickers to place on my wall, my sister Caitlin gave me some of her shoes ( two pairs ), and a set with headbands called... I’m not sure though &
I think that’s all, and also I got $165 from my family.
I know what the true meaning of Christmas is, It is giving, giving as much as you want or can so
all of theses presents I got from my family were unexpected apart from the money. With all of that money I will spend it on rollar skates, my other thought was an MP3 Player but that can come second.
I reckon I would have a lot of fun on the skates I will buy!!!!!!!

How to grow a flower:
you’re goal is to grow a flower:
you will need:
seed ( a packet of seeds )
water
pot ( many as you like )
(1) Get the seeds.
(2) Put you’re finger in a pile of dirt and make a hole.
(3) Place the seeds in the hole.
(4) Put dirt on the seeds.
(5) Then you can water the plant but not to much.
(6) Move it to some where sunny.
(7) After a few days the seeds will develop stalk then, some leaves, then petals. After a few more days and you will have a nice flower!

Today was the time to do experiments, the best bit was we used chemicals! this day was to do this.
When it was my turn, Hope Chevy Lee and I had to listen to what Mrs Heeps was telling us to do,
0-[pall of us had to practice for a few minutes by measuring the measuring cup. Up to ten/10 twenty/20
and thirty/30, oh I forgot fifteen/15 centimetres as well. About the chemicals, we placed or poured
into the measuring tube some sort of acid we got to taste before we put it in. Surprisingly all of us also used some GLITTER! But we for sure did absolutely not eat it! That would of tasted disgusting! Yukcyle! I’m not sure what this other thing we all used but no one ate though, it actually looked like
the sour thingy. Now the best thing is coming up........ It flowed! It was amazing, I really wanted to do
probably 5 more times! Chevy Lee and Hope put some of the flowy stuff on their nose..... They took it
off then well I am totally not sure if this is true but Chevy said her noes itched or something. You know how I might have told you about the backing soda, well thats what I think I talked about little bit. As a result, we also used critus acid, Handy Andy, glitter and of coures water witch helped us quite a bit. That experement

Seeming I felt jealous... Not the next day; but The next couple of days later, I felt a bit
jealous and a bit confident, so I tried to do what they had done... I waited for a few minutes
just to relax for polIn term 1, some of my friends have been trying to teach me how to do a little trick on a
e or something. I was so jealous because they could do something that I could not do
ma few seconds, I don't think my friends were watching because
I might have or I might have not asked them or one of them to watch.
There was a lot of pain for what I had done on that day, I spun and jumped but unfortunately
I got injured, as in SPRAINED MY ANKLE! So I was crying hard out! Ouch! Ouch; as my friends
placed their arms around my shoulder and sort of dragged me to the sick bay ( that's around the
school grounds ) I had to well as a result Mrs Spaghetti or someone placed a freezing cold Ice
pack on my left sprained ankle.
As I got home my mum was absolutely shocked, I think or maybe she just made me feel like I need
a lot of respect. Every then and then I needed to put an ice pack on it, the worst things was my
mum suggested a roll up bandage around my ankle. That was so not comfortable I said
no! Because I don't like feeling UN comfortable.The worst thing was that I could not run,walk or play properly.
But... I LOVE MY MUM BECAUSE SHE TAKES GREAT CARE OF ME!

Rugby World Cup moment
The Rugby World Cup was on - on Sunday 23 rd of October, mum and I ( Nicola/Nicky )
were watching what was going on. I wasn't watching much. However around ten minutes that was when I started watching it. I said “ mu um “ when she kept saying Yes! No! My mum was
acting by the way this is my thought, Acting like a dad that’s as angry or a happy as a Gorilla!
I was doing my own thing half the time, you know how my mum was saying Yes! No! However
I asked her who’s winning?” All Blacks “ sh said. I said “ That’s brilliant. “ So at the end of the game, THE ALL BLACKS WON! That’s when in our street fire works went off. Sadly we did not see them, only herd them witch made it quite hard for me to sleep that night. I felt happy for my mum because when she said yeah or something when the All Blacks won.

How to Design Great Flag:
1 Keep it simple. A flag should be so simple a child can remember it.
1a Scotland & Tonga
2 Use meaningful symbols, ( icons, emblems )For an example:kiwi,koru,stars,moons,national
Emlems.
2a The Tongan cross, & the Scotland x cross mark
3 Use three basic colours ( strong )
3a Well my flag did not meet this criteria, because I used five colours when I
should have used three at the most!

Working with Miss G
Hi, my name is Nicola. Yesterday afternoon at school, a few laptop
teachers came o teach us about our new netbooks. They reminded us
about our passwords and our user names. As a result I don’t know much about some of these things, but I know just enough to survive! So when we got them, they were in cardboard suitcases and yet I = Nicola, was already impressed! When we opened it to see the netbook, I was even more impressed! It was amazing using the netbook. After that we had to type in our passwords and user names. When that was done, we got to go on games!
I didn’t, I went on graphics and painted a picture!

Hi, my name is Nicola and this a picture of my Topic body parts. I done lips, it was kinda easy finding the information, but the hard part was thinking of a few questions. First we wrote in our book, few weeks or days later I was on a class computer and on Comic Life. The best bit was choosing the pictures.
