The story about my picture: Nicky

                             

The story behind my picture is about some of the colours I like. As you can see, there are a lot of shades of blue, especially the moon and it’s reflection. To me blue makes things stand out and it makes things look dramatically interesting, I reckon everything need a little blue i it. The reason why I wanted to draw this picture is because I thought it would look nice and different to other kids in my class. Hope you enjoy looking at this.

Neil Armstrong:

Do you know who Neil Armstrong is? He’s the first ever man / human to first step onto the moon.

Neil Armstrong was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio on August 5th 1930. He became a very popular person in his quote. “That’s one small step for man, and one big leap for mankind”, is what Neil said as he set foot on the moon. Once Neil attended Purdue University where he received his bachelor of science in Aeronautical Engineering.

Did you know that Neil Armstrong became a naval aviator in 1949 - 1952? Thats 3 years. During 1971 and 1979 he was a professor of aerospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Unfortunately in 1971 Neil Armstrong left the NASA program.

Do you know what some of the Honours Neil Armstrong had Achieved?  In 1969 Neil won a Presidential medal for freedom, he also won three / 3 trophies in 1970, 1969, 1978 from 2 people: Robert.H, Robert.J,  and he Also Neil won Congressional Space Medal of Honor.

Sadly, Neil Armstrong died on August 25, 2012.
